Model 3 lease: overnight Level 2 for the commute

A leased Model 3 is NACS. Superchargers work. Hardwire Lectron NEXUS NACS 48A where it sleeps so weekday miles come off the wall. Lectron J1772 to NACS 80A only if you actually stay at hotels whose Level 2 is still J1772.

Hardwire Level 2 where the car sleeps

A 36-month commute is hundreds of overnight fills. That is why you spend once on a wall unit instead of hunting Superchargers before work. Lectron NEXUS NACS 48A is the hardwired stall. Licensed electrician, dedicated 240V, match the panel.

Overnight on the stall, leave with a full pack. A portable L1 or a travel cable on a hook will not keep up with weekday miles. That cord is travel kit, not the stall.

Superchargers already take this car

The port is NACS. Tesla Superchargers take it with no extra brick. Home Level 2 should carry most of the miles. Public DC is backup when the day runs long, not the weekday plan.

The lease tracks miles and wear, not a charge percent at term. Paper at the dealer still wins.

Hotel Level 2 is still often J1772

Hotels and workplaces lagged the NACS switch. Over the term you will still meet destination pedestals that are classic J1772. Buy an adapter only if you actually stay at those sites. Superchargers already work.

Lectron J1772 to NACS 80A is the brick for a NACS car on a J1772 handle. Confirm Tesla did not already pack a J1772 adapter in the car. Look at the connector on the listing before you order. Other quality brands work. Skip mounts.

Mats for the carpet you hand back

Rain and grit chew the carpet a lease inspects at term. Miles and wear, not a desk charge percent. Fitted mats take that abuse.

WeatherTech mats. Fit Model 3.
