Tesla Robotaxi and Cybercab
Tesla rider hail and owner-op status. Rider guides come first on Learn.
Robotaxi and Cybercab
Robotaxi is the hail service in the Tesla Robotaxi app. Cybercab is Tesla's two-seat purpose-built cab. You hail it in that app; you do not pick the cab. The app sends a Cybercab or an ordinary-looking Tesla by group size and availability.
Tesla rider hail
Checked 2026-09-09. tesla.com/robotaxi names Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Austin, Dallas, and Houston. Cybercab rider hail is Live in limited parts of Austin only (Tesla launch 3-4 Sep 2026; tesla.com/robotaxi 403 on this pass). Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa hail Tesla Robotaxi on ordinary-looking Teslas. Phoenix is Tesla staging. Las Vegas has a Nevada permit, not a public hail. Owner-op and retail Cybercab wait on Tesla's public open. Open Ride for the map, then finish in their app.
