Charging a rented Equinox EV
The Equinox EV changed plug mid-generation: 2026 and newer are NACS and fit a Supercharger directly, earlier ones are CCS and need the adapter. Rental fleets still carry plenty of the earlier cars, so check the port on the car you are given before you plan a Supercharger stop. Electrify America and EVgo work either way.
Trip mode loads live weather, range math for your leave battery %, and the public charger directory for wherever you are headed.
Day rate honesty
The ~$97/day figure is a planning sketch as of 2026-09-09, $74 to $132 for the San Diego market. Not live inventory and not a quote. Confirm on Hertz or Turo. ElevnEV does not book.
