The ride, in order

  1. Request a ride in the app.It tells you which pickup point to walk to.
  2. Several Zoox at the curb?Tap Chime and yours lights up and plays a sound. The app also shows its license plate.
  3. Inside, close the doors on the seat touchscreen, buckle up, then press Start Ride.It will not move until every rider is buckled.
  4. Need help?Press Help in the app or on the touchscreen, the overhead Emergency Call Button, or call or text 1-888-477-5055.

How long it waitsZoox does not publish how long the robotaxi waits at pickup.For the airport, it says to check the pickup wait time in the app before you book.
Worth knowingRiders must be 8 or older, and the person booking must be 18 or older.Up to 4 riders. Zoox recommends a booster seat for riders under 4 ft 9 in, and a high-back booster under 4 ft 1 in.
