The ride, in order

1. 1Pick a destination, then a pickup point.This is the big difference: Zoox uses fixed pickup and drop-off zones, not your doorstep.
2. 2The app shows your pod's plate and an ETA.Find My Zoox lets you set a distinct light and sound cue so you can pick yours out of a busy zone.
3. 3At some venues, Resorts World among them, staff on site will walk a first-timer through the app.
4. 4The pod is purpose-built: no steering wheel, no pedals, four seats facing each other.

Also on the road, not hailable. Waymo has tested in Seattle since September 2025 with safety drivers aboard and no published timetable for public rides. A test car with a driver is further from service than an employee-only driverless fleet, so expect the other testing metros to open first.
