Turo or a rental counter

A Turo price is one host's car and rules. A counter price is a class. Compare the total for your dates, then the return rule.

Same dates, two numbers

Seattle, Oct 11 to 13, as Kayak printed it on the morning of Oct 10: a Turo host's Model 3 at $154 for the two days, which we show as about $77 a day. The one named Model 3 in Kayak's car search for the same dates was about $105 a day.

Both are what one morning showed, not quotes. Prices move by the hour.

What each one is

Turo is a specific car from a specific host, with that host's rules. A rental counter rents a class, so the exact model is not promised unless the listing names it.

The return rule differs

Hertz asks you to come back within about 5% of the pickup charge, and never above 75%. On Turo you return the exact percent you picked up at, and Supercharger sessions often bill the host first. Your agreement controls either way.
